Marriott opens 142-room Cape Town EDITION, marking brand’s African debut
MAR•Marriott International opened The Cape Town EDITION, a 142-room hotel at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, marking the brand’s African debut.
1. Hotel opens in Cape Town
The 142-room hotel occupies Quay 7 on Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, overlooking the new superyacht marina. It was designed by Neri&Hu with Cape Town-based firms.
2. Suites and event space
The property includes a 240-square-meter penthouse, a 112-square-meter Harbour Suite and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 200 people, as well as meeting rooms and a private terrace.
