Project details and planned openings

Rotorua Marriott Hotel is planned through conversion of the Arawa Park Hotel Rotorua, featuring a 12-month renovation ahead of a late-2027 launch.

The Autograph Collection projects will repurpose historic buildings: The Official Auckland in 2028 with 82 rooms, and Fable Wellington in 2029 with 118 rooms.

Marriott expands into New Zealand with CP Group deal

Marriott International signed agreements with CP Group for three hotels in New Zealand, adding 335 rooms across Rotorua, Auckland and Wellington.

Openings are targeted for 2026-2029, marking Marriott Hotels’ New Zealand debut in Rotorua and Autograph Collection entries in Auckland and Wellington.
