Marriott Vacations Worldwide named Tony Walker as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, reporting to President and COO Mike Flaskey. Walker brings over 20 years of sales and marketing leadership, including six years as CSMO at Diamond Resorts, to drive tour flow and VPG growth.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide named Tony Walker as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, reporting directly to President and COO Mike Flaskey. This leadership change aims to sharpen the company’s focus on operational excellence and enhance the customer journey across its vacation ownership brands.

2. Industry Leadership Background

Walker brings more than two decades of sales, marketing and operational leadership, including six years as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Diamond Resorts, where he supported sustained revenue and adjusted EBITDA growth. He has also held senior positions at Starwood Vacation Ownership, Travel + Leisure and led a sales transformation at maritime hospitality firm Hornblower Corporation.

3. Growth and Operational Focus

In his new role, Walker will be responsible for developing and delivering sales and marketing strategies to boost tour flow and Volume Per Guest (VPG), as well as overseeing sales training, recruitment and personal development across Marriott Vacations’ 120 resorts and 700,000 owner families.
