W Hotels has opened its third Italian property, the 157-room W Sardinia–Poltu Quatu resort on Sardinia's northeast coast between Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia. The design-driven resort features a marina-front seafood restaurant, signature W Lounge, WET Deck pool, AWAY Spa, FIT gym, and local artisan programming.

W Hotels has expanded its portfolio with the opening of W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu on April 30, 2026, marking the brand’s third Italian property after Rome and Florence. The 157-room resort is situated on Sardinia’s northeast coast between Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia, overlooking the Marina dell’Orso.

Designed by Meyer Davis and DE.TALES, the resort’s architecture blends whitewashed structures carved into granite cliffs with Mediterranean landscapes. Facilities include TANIT, a marina-front seafood restaurant, a signature W Lounge, WET Deck pool terrace, AWAY Spa, and FIT gym, alongside two penthouse suites with private pools.
3. Immersive Local Culture and Artisan Experiences
Emphasizing Sardinian culture, the hotel features local art installations by Nicola Filia and Luca Scassellati, private plunge pool suites, and a rotating calendar of artisan workshops from ceramic sessions to guided hikes.
