Mastercard has launched a global Crypto Partner Program enlisting over 85 blockchain firms, including Ripple, Binance, Circle, PayPal and Gemini, to integrate programmable digital assets with its card networks. The initiative targets cross-border transfers, B2B payments and settlements by linking digital assets with Mastercard's payments network in over 200 countries.

Mastercard has introduced a global Crypto Partner Program enlisting over 85 crypto-native companies and financial institutions to bridge blockchain innovation with its card networks. The program will facilitate collaboration on integrating programmable digital assets into the existing payments ecosystem.

2. Major Participants

Participants include blockchain exchanges and developers such as Ripple, Binance, Circle, PayPal, Gemini, Paxos and teams from Solana, Avalanche and Polygon. These partners will co-develop products combining on-chain assets with Mastercard’s established payment rails.

3. Targeted Use Cases

The initiative focuses on enterprise applications including cross-border transfers, business-to-business payments, global payouts and settlements. Partners will work on solutions designed to leverage digital asset speed and programmability within Mastercard’s network.

4. Strategic Ecosystem Integration

Building on initiatives like Start Path, Engage and the Crypto Card program, Mastercard’s new partner forum formalizes collaboration with the digital asset community. This effort aims to accelerate practical adoption of on-chain payments across its global infrastructure.
