Mastercard to Appoint Ling Hai as CFO, Create Chief Business Officer Position
MA•Mastercard will name regional president Ling Hai as CFO and create a new chief business officer role for outgoing CFO Sachin Mehra, effective August 3. The reorganization also shifts Linda Kirkpatrick to chief services officer, Dimi Dosis to chief commercial payments officer and reassigns other senior executives.
1. CFO Appointment
Effective August 3, Ling Hai will transition from regional president of Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa to chief financial officer. Hai’s international markets experience and commercial mindset are expected to guide Mastercard’s global financial strategy.
2. Creation of Chief Business Officer Role
Outgoing CFO Sachin Mehra will become chief business officer, overseeing country-level operations worldwide, sales enablement, global partnerships and digital commercialization under a unified structure.
3. Other Executive Shifts
Linda Kirkpatrick moves from president of the Americas to chief services officer; Dimi Dosis becomes chief commercial payments officer; Craig Vosburg shifts to vice chair; Raj Seshadri assumes an advisory role; vice chair Tim Murphy will retire in October.
4. Strategic Rationale
The reorganization aims to align senior leadership more closely with customers and consolidate client-facing functions into a cohesive operating model to strengthen execution and support continued growth.
