Mattel names Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch as chairman, CEO succeeding Ynon Kreiz
MAT•Mattel named board member Roger Lynch chairman effective Oct. 2, 2026, and CEO effective on or before Nov. 2. Ynon Kreiz will step down on Oct. 2 to take a senior leadership role at another public company.

Mattel said Lynch, its independent lead director since 2018, will become chairman on Oct. 2, 2026, and take on CEO duties on or before Nov. 2. Kreiz will step down as chairman and CEO on Oct. 2 to take a senior leadership role at another public company; board member Diana Ferguson was appointed independent lead director.
