Lynch, who has served on the board since 2018 and is currently CEO of Condé Nast, is expected to take the top job on or before November 2. Kreiz will leave Mattel on October 2 for a senior leadership position at another public company. Mattel shares fell 3% to $12.82 in premarket trading; the stock was down 33.4% year to date as of the prior close.
