Mayfair Gold Q2 2026 loss widens on higher Fenn-Gib exploration, NYSE listing costs, company says
MFG•Q2 loss widens on higher project spending
Mayfair posted a Q2 2026 net loss of CAD 7.35 million, driven by higher project spending tied to Fenn-Gib.
- Exploration and evaluation expense rose to CAD 4.7 million from CAD 1.36 million, led by condemnation drilling, TSF investigation, and pump testing.
- General and administrative costs climbed to CAD 2.52 million from CAD 604,914, reflecting NYSE American listing fees, higher D&O insurance, and added management costs.
- Interest income increased to CAD 166,675 from CAD 51,493 on higher average cash balances, partly offsetting the loss.
- Cash and cash equivalents ended at CAD 22.95 million, down from CAD 38.19 million, as operating cash use rose to CAD 13.75 million.
