Mayfair Gold’s 4,200m Grade Control Drill Hits Up to 2.54 g/t Au over 64m
Mayfair Gold’s 2025 grade control drilling at Fenn-Gib comprised 56 holes totalling 4,200m, with interim assays from 36 holes showing capped grades up to 2.54 g/t Au over 64m, matching or exceeding block model forecasts. This bolsters confidence in high-grade starter pit feed and supports project financing.
1. Grade Control Drilling Program
Mayfair Gold conducted a tight-spaced grade control drilling program at the Fenn-Gib starter pit, completing 56 vertical diamond holes on a 10m x 10m grid to a target depth of 75m, totalling 4,200m. The program targets approximately one million tonnes of near-surface material intended for initial plant feed.
2. Interim Assay Results
Interim assays from 36 drill holes revealed capped gold grades ranging from 0.74 to 2.54 g/t Au over intercepts up to 64m, generally aligning with or exceeding the existing block model. Remaining assays are expected in Q1 2026, after which full QA/QC verification will be completed.
3. Project Impact and Financing
These early results reinforce the high-grade assumptions for the initial production years outlined in the 2026 pre-feasibility study and generate critical data on ore geometry, dilution and potential metal loss. Mayfair Gold will leverage this information to refine mine planning and advance project financing efforts.
