McEwen’s Tartan Mine Project Contains 308,900 Indicated and 302,700 Inferred Ounces

MUXMUX

McEwen’s Mineral Resource Estimate for Tartan shows 308,900 indicated and 302,700 inferred gold ounces calculated at US$3,000/oz, with average grades of 3.67 gpt and 3.32 gpt respectively. The company committed C$6 million, targeting annual production of 30,000 ounces, with potential to double mill capacity to 1,000 tpd for 45,000–55,000 ounces.

1. Mineral Resource Estimate

The Tartan Mine Project hosts 308,900 indicated gold ounces in 2,619,000 tonnes grading 3.67 gpt and 302,700 inferred ounces in 2,832,900 tonnes at 3.32 gpt, all calculated at a US$3,000/oz gold price and reported above a 1.35 gpt underground cut‐off.

2. Expansion and Exploration Budget

McEwen plans to expand the resource through additional drilling immediately around the Western and Eastern flanks of the Main Zone, vertically at the Main and South Zones, and on the adjoining Tartan West property, supported by a C$6 million 2026 exploration budget and ongoing metallurgical test work.

3. Production Targets and Capacity

Initial underground production at Tartan is expected to average 30,000 ounces per year at 500 tpd, with permit modifications to double mill throughput to 1,000 tpd for 45,000–55,000 ounces annually, advancing McEwen’s goal to reach 250,000–300,000 ounces of gold production by 2030.
