MediaCo Reports 18.3% AQH Growth in NYC, 25% in LA and Opens Orlando EstrellaTV

The company will launch Orlando TV station WDYB-CD as EstrellaTV on March 24, 2026, expanding Hispanic market presence.
1. Record Year-End Audience Growth Across Major Markets
MediaCo Holding Inc. reported an exceptional increase in key audience metrics for the year-end period, ranking it among the fastest-growing radio broadcasters in the U.S. In New York City, average quarter-hour (AQH) ratings rose 18.3% and overall share climbed 9.9%, driven by HOT 97’s weekday resurgence and consistent WBLS performance. Los Angeles saw a 25.0% uptick in AQH and a 38.2% gain in cumulative reach (Cume), led by Que Buena LA’s expansion. In Dallas, KNOR and KBOC powered a 31.1% AQH increase and a 15.0% Cume lift, underscoring MediaCo’s local-first programming strategy in top Hispanic and urban markets.
2. Strong Momentum with Younger Audiences
Among Adults 18–49, MediaCo delivered double-digit gains across its flagship stations. HOT 97 posted a 40.6% AQH increase and a 30.6% share growth in this demo, while Que Buena LA registered a 25.0% AQH rise and a 17.3% share boost among Adults 25–54. In Dallas, KNOR achieved a 45.0% AQH jump and a 21.9% share gain among Adults 25–54, highlighting the company’s ability to connect with culturally engaged, high-value listeners and sustain weekday prime-time momentum.
3. Platform Expansion and National Scale Strategy
Building on these ratings achievements, MediaCo is preparing to launch Sigma Audio Networks, its new national multicultural audio platform. With a combined reach of more than 20 million listeners per month across radio, television, digital and streaming, Sigma is designed to offer advertisers a scalable solution rooted in cultural authenticity.
