Cash proceeds totaled USD 371 million, with USD 42 million distributed to minority real estate owners.
The deal valued the assets at a 6.9% capitalization rate; MPT’s gross investment was about USD 240 million.
Proceeds are expected to be used mainly to reduce debt.
