Medline Deploys 96-Robot AutoStore with 38,000 Bins in Aurora Distribution Center
Medline has installed its 24th AutoStore system at its Aurora, Colorado distribution center, adding 96 robots, 38,000 bins, eight induction and 10 picking workstations to boost throughput. The SynQ-powered system joins over 2,100 robots globally to increase order capacity and fulfillment efficiency in its busiest regional hub.

The Aurora center’s new AutoStore setup includes eight induction workstations, 10 picking workstations, 38,000 storage bins and 96 robots. This configuration is designed to streamline item sorting, retrieval and transport, integrating Swisslog’s SynQ software for unified inventory management and order processing.
2. Enhanced Fulfillment Capacity
This installation will support higher throughput by automating repetitive tasks, reducing manual handling and enabling faster order turnaround. The added 96 robots will supplement Medline’s existing fleet of over 2,100 robots, boosting daily order capacity in one of its busiest regional hubs.
