Medline unveils Pick Pack Pro automation at Montgomery distribution center
Medline launched Pick Pack Pro fulfillment system at its Montgomery, N.Y. center, integrating robotic sortation, conveyor automation and streamlined packing for high-volume medical supply orders. The deployment aims to boost delivery speed and accuracy for health plan members and will expand to Medline’s 45 U.S. distribution centers.

On April 6, Medline activated the Pick Pack Pro system at its Montgomery, N.Y. facility, marking the company’s first capital and staffing investment in this custom automation technology designed for health plan order fulfillment.
2. Technology Integration and Benefits
Pick Pack Pro combines optimized order batching, robotic sortation and automated packing to handle spikes in high-volume, limited-catalog medical supply orders, improving delivery speed and accuracy for Medicare and other plan members.
3. Partnerships with Key Vendors
Medline collaborated with Tompkins Robotics for item sortation, Trew for conveyor and carton movement, and Ranpak for sustainable right-size packaging solutions in the Pick Pack Pro installation.
4. Future Rollout Plans
Following the Montgomery pilot, Medline intends to deploy Pick Pack Pro across its network of 45 U.S. distribution centers to standardize fulfillment processes for its health plan customers.
