September 1 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures slipped on Tuesday, extending a weak run as elevated bond yields and higher oil prices kept investors at bay at the start of a historically weak month for equities.
At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.82% at 52,752.17. The S&P 500 was down 0.69% at 7,633.20, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.95% at 26,121.00.
