Merck says tulisokibart hits primary endpoint in Phase 2b hidradenitis suppurativa trial
MRK•Merck said tulisokibart met the primary efficacy endpoint in a Phase 2b trial for moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa and plans to advance the drug into Phase 3.

The Phase 2b trial met its primary efficacy goal, with patients receiving higher-dose regimens more likely to improve than those receiving placebo. Key secondary measures also favored treatment, while safety was broadly comparable with placebo; serious adverse events were uncommon, and no serious or opportunistic infections were reported.

Merck plans to advance tulisokibart into Phase 3 for hidradenitis suppurativa. The first Phase 2b results are slated for presentation at EADV 2026.
