Meta Launches 1% Ad Invoice Cashback, Offers Up to $3,000 to Influencers

METAMETA

Meta will pay Facebook influencers up to $3,000 monthly to boost engagement, and has enabled advertisers to earn 1% cashback on ad invoice payments via ACH, wire, FedNow or SWIFT through the new Slash Financial program. These initiatives aim to stabilize ad revenue by incentivizing content creation and ad spending.

1. Meta Invoice Cashback Program

Meta has partnered with Slash Financial to launch the Meta Invoice Cashback program, which restores credit card–style rewards for high-spend advertisers requiring invoice-based billing. Eligible Meta ad payments made via ACH, wire, FedNow or SWIFT will earn 1% cashback, aiming to offset lost card points and encourage larger ad budgets.

2. Influencer Payment Initiative

To reverse declining content engagement, Meta will offer qualified Facebook influencers up to $3,000 per month for posting original content over several months. The incentive program targets creators with established followings to increase time spent on Facebook, where Meta still trails competitors in user engagement metrics.

3. Competitive Pressures in Creator Tools

Emerging competition in AI-powered video editing underscores the need for Meta to bolster its creator tools. Mirage’s recent $75 million funding round for its Captions app rebranded as an AI lab highlights growing rival capabilities, signaling that Meta’s own Edits suite may face stronger market pressure.
