Meta releases Muse Spark Open, the open weights version of Muse Spark
META•Meta released Muse Spark Open, an open-weights model with 816 billion parameters in a sparse mixture-of-experts architecture that activates roughly 42 billion parameters per token. The model is available through API platforms and for download, and runs on Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios.

Meta said Muse Spark Open is available today and brings agentic capabilities to desktop for the first time on Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios. The model has 816 billion parameters in a sparse mixture-of-experts architecture, activating roughly 42 billion parameters per token.
2. Access and license
The model is available through API platforms Baseten, Fireworks AI, Groq, Modal, Nebius, OpenRouter and Together AI. Its weights can be downloaded from Amazon SageMaker AI, Google Cloud Model Garden, Hugging Face and Microsoft Foundry Models. Meta is releasing the weights under a Muse Model License with limited commercial terms that allow many developers to use the model for free.
