Meta Unveils $2,595 Omni One Treadmill and $299 AI Glasses
META•Meta and Virtuix are launching the $2,595 Meta-certified Omni One treadmill for Quest 2 and 3, tapping millions of Meta Store users. Meta also rolled out AI-powered Glasses starting at $299 (with a $399 Kylie Jenner edition) to support its $145 billion capex on AI hardware.
1. Virtuix Omni One Launch
Virtuix’s Omni One is now Meta-certified for Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets, offering a $2,595 omni-directional treadmill system that lets users walk, run and jump within VR titles. Featuring ‘Made for Meta’ certification, the Omni One will be sold through the Meta Store, expanding Meta’s XR device ecosystem.
2. Meta’s AI-Powered Glasses
Meta introduced its first in-house smart glasses, branded as Meta Glasses, at a starting price of $299 with an optional $399 Kylie Jenner edition using her voice as the AI assistant. Available in multiple styles, the launch bolsters Reality Labs’ product lineup as Meta allocates $145 billion in capex toward AI hardware and XR innovation.
