The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency awarded Metallus a single-award, firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to supply steel for defense applications. The five-year ordering period has a $995 million ceiling, but the agency is not committed to ordering that volume. Metallus received an initial delivery order worth about $125 million on Sept. 29, 2026, and each delivery order may take up to 24 months to fulfill.
