Mexico economy grows 1.4% in 2nd qtr vs 1st qtr

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 24 (Reuters) - Mexico's economy grew 1.4 percent in the second quarter from the previous three-month period, the national statistics agency said on Monday.

In annual terms, the economy expanded 2.1 percent compared to a year earlier.
