Mexico's gross fixed investment slips in May

MEXICO CITY, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Mexican gross fixed investment fell 0.4 percent in May from the previous month, the national statistics agency said on Wednesday.

The measure of spending on machinery, equipment and new construction was up 1.1 percent from the same month a year earlier.
