Miata Metals Hits 4.3m at 12.49g/t and 22.7m at 2.23g/t Gold Intercepts

MMETMMET

Miata Metals reported final assays from its 10,041m 2025 drill at Sela Creek, highlighting 4.3m at 12.49g/t and 22.7m at 2.23g/t gold at Jons Trend. The drilling extends mineralization across a 750m by 250m zone, highlighted by a 57m at 1.01g/t intercept, while Big Berg returned 8.1m at 2.21g/t gold.

1. Final Assay Results Highlight High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Jons Trend

Miata Metals reported the final assays from its 10,041 metre 2025 drill program at the Jons Trend zone of the Sela Creek Gold Project, delivering multiple high-grade intercepts that expand the discovery corridor. Key results include 4.3 metres at 12.49 g/t gold from 122 m (including 1.3 m at 29.24 g/t), 22.7 m at 2.23 g/t gold from 70 m (including 15.9 m at 2.84 g/t) and 57 m at 1.01 g/t gold from 89 m. These intercepts confirm continuous mineralization over a 750 × 250 metre corridor to depths of 200 metres, with all but one hole returning multiple mineralized intervals. The assays delineate four distinct vein zones and substantiate both width and grade improvements in the discovery footprint.

2. Big Berg Expansion and 2026 Drill Program Outlook

Exploration at the nearby Big Berg target yielded a new high-grade interval of 8.1 metres at 2.21 g/t gold from 94.3 m (including 3.7 m at 3.94 g/t), following a previously reported 14 m at 1.72 g/t. Big Berg lies 500 metres southeast along strike from Jons Trend and features alteration hosted by a brittle-ductile fault, a known control for gold deposition. Encouraged by these results, Miata plans a 25,000 metre 2026 drill program—more than double 2025’s footage—to define the full strike, width and depth of Jons Trend and to test Puma, Golden Hand and other priority targets.

3. OTCQX Upgrade Enhances U.S. Investor Visibility

On January 21, 2026, Miata Metals qualified to trade on the OTCQX Best Market in the United States, upgrading from the OTCQB Venture tier while retaining its symbol and Canadian listing on the CSE. This advancement follows rigorous financial reporting and corporate governance standards and is expected to broaden the Company’s U.S. investor reach. Concurrently, Miata engaged Connect 4 Marketing Ltd. for a 12-month, C$100,000 digital campaign—including SEM, retargeting, social media influencers and newsletters—to boost awareness among high-value audiences.
