1. Manufacturing Partnership with Sanmina
Microbot Medical has entered a Letter of Agreement with Sanmina Corporation to serve as a second manufacturing site for its LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System. This partnership leverages Sanmina’s global integrated manufacturing infrastructure to diversify production capabilities beyond the company’s existing facility.
2. Capacity Expansion and Cost Reduction
The addition of Sanmina’s facility is expected to increase overall production capacity, improve operating efficiencies and lower unit costs. These improvements are intended to support Microbot Medical’s cost reduction strategy and bolster gross margins as demand for single-use robotic systems rises.
3. Regional Adoption and Regulatory Progress
Momentum in the Eastern U.S. has driven increased account usage of the LIBERTY system, while recent FDA clearance in Israel and advancement toward CE Mark certification signal further international growth opportunities. The expanded manufacturing footprint positions the company to meet near- and long-term demand across current and future markets.
