Microsoft Seals Five-Year AI Deal With Stellantis for Over 100 Initiatives
Stellantis and Microsoft launched a five-year partnership to co-develop more than 100 AI initiatives, including enterprise chatbots and AI-driven maintenance suggestions on vehicle dashboards. Stellantis will equip 20,000 employees with Microsoft Copilot and use Azure AI to power an AI-driven global cyber defense center and streamline product development.

Stellantis and Microsoft signed a five-year agreement to co-develop more than 100 artificial intelligence initiatives. The deal spans enterprise operations to customer-facing applications and aims to accelerate digital innovation across Stellantis’s global business.
2. Employee AI Access
All Stellantis staff will receive access to Microsoft Copilot, with at least 20,000 employees equipped with the premium 365 Copilot version. Training programs are underway to integrate AI tools into daily workflows and support rapid adoption.
3. AI Use Cases
Planned AI applications include chatbots for employee support, AI-generated maintenance and route suggestions within vehicle dashboards, and Azure-powered analytics for product development. The partnership also covers a new AI-driven global cyber defense center to oversee IT systems, manufacturing sites and network security.
