MicroVision Launches Global Lidar Partner Program in Japan, North America and Europe

MVISMVIS

MicroVision launched a Global Partner and Reseller Program with partners in Japan, North America, Europe and Asia to scale deployment of its Movia, Iris and Movia Perception lidar solutions across industrial, defense and mobility applications. The program provides modular integration, open software tools and lifecycle support for full commercialization.

1. Program Launch

MicroVision introduced its Global Partner and Reseller Program on April 14, designed to accelerate commercial deployment of its Lidar 2.0 offerings. The initiative targets partners that can transition deployments from pilots to full-scale production across multiple sectors.

2. Key Program Features

The program offers a complete perception portfolio spanning short-, medium- and long-range lidar, modular integration tools, an open software architecture and ongoing lifecycle support. These elements aim to reduce integration complexity, control costs and ensure automotive-grade reliability over product lifecycles.

3. Regional Partnership Expansion

In Japan, MicroVision has signed a leading industrial and defense reseller to roll out lidar solutions for mining, agriculture, rail safety, unmanned ground systems and marine operations. Parallel agreements in North America and Europe involve a global lidar integrator to deploy systems in industrial automation, infrastructure monitoring and security applications, with additional partner relationships forming in Korea and Singapore.

4. Market Impact

By aligning with established resellers and integrators, MicroVision seeks to move beyond technology validation to scalable execution. The program’s regional focus and comprehensive support structure position the company to capture growing demand for cost-effective, software-driven lidar in industrial, defense and mobility markets.
