Medtronic completed the separation of MiniMed by exchanging its remaining 252,813,348 MiniMed common shares for outstanding Medtronic ordinary shares. The exchange offer was 5.4 times subscribed, and Medtronic said the separation sharpens its focus on its Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Surgical portfolios.
