MiniMed completed its separation from Medtronic on Oct. 15, 2026, becoming a fully independent company. Medtronic accepted 55,032,401 Medtronic ordinary shares in exchange for 252,813,348 MiniMed common shares. The exchange offer was 5.4 times subscribed, and Medtronic no longer holds an equity stake in MiniMed.
