MIRA•Mira Pharmaceuticals reported that oral SKNY-1 reduced weight and fat in obese mice, with weight reduction occurring without a significant decrease in food consumption.

Mira Pharmaceuticals said SKNY-1-treated mice did not show significant lean-mass loss compared with semaglutide and had no significant post-treatment food increase. The company also reported slower and less weight regain after treatment than with semaglutide.
