MKS invests $25 million to expand Guangzhou manufacturing facility
MKSI•MKS is investing $25 million to expand its Atotech equipment manufacturing facility in Guangzhou, increasing its size from 20,000 to 50,000 square meters and adding more than 300 jobs.
1. Facility expansion
The expansion, launched in June 2026, is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2027. Plans include adding 30 machining and fabrication systems to increase annual production capacity, addressing rising plating equipment demand in Greater China and Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Vietnam.
