Mobileye founder Prof. Amnon Shashua plans to step down as CEO once a successor is appointed.
The board will hire an executive search firm to run a comprehensive CEO selection process.
Shashua to remain on the board
Shashua will remain a director; the board offered him the chairman role following the new CEO’s appointment.
Intel holds about 77% beneficial ownership of Mobileye.
