Mobileye announced a definitive agreement to acquire Mentee Robotics Ltd. for a total consideration of $900 million, comprising approximately $612 million in cash and up to 26.2 million shares of Mobileye Class A common stock. The transaction, expected to close in Q1 2026 subject to customary conditions, will accelerate Mentee’s go-to-market strategy with proof-of-concept deployments slated for 2026 and series production targeted for 2028. Mentee’s third-generation humanoid platform, built on few-shot learning and simulation-first training, will become an independent unit within Mobileye, preserving its in-house hardware and software design while leveraging Mobileye’s global production expertise and AI training infrastructure.

By combining Mentee’s vision-language-action breakthroughs with Mobileye’s advanced autonomy stack—supported by a $24.5 billion eight-year automotive revenue pipeline—Mobileye expects to create a global leader in Physical Artificial Intelligence. The acquisition will modestly increase operating expenses in 2026 by a low-single-digit percentage, while strengthening safety leadership through Mobileye’s Responsibility-Sensitive Safety models and redundant system architectures. Management forecasts that integrating Mentee’s cost-efficient, vertically integrated hardware will drive scalable deployment across logistics, manufacturing and warehousing environments.

Mobileye secured a multi-million-unit agreement with a top-ten US automaker to equip future vehicles with its EyeQ6H-based Surround ADAS solution. The deal covers approximately nine million systems, which will be standard across mainstream and premium models, and builds on programs announced with Volkswagen Group. Surround ADAS integrates up to 11 cameras and radars on a single ECU, enabling hands-free highway driving up to 130 kph, automated lane changes, traffic-jam assist and driver monitoring, all driven by REM™ crowdsourced mapping data covering over 90% of key global road networks.

Mobileye has now built partnerships for more than 19 million EyeQ6H-based Surround systems through 2025, supporting its transition into software-defined vehicle architectures. The company reports that its autonomous driving pipeline has grown over 40% since January 2023, and that more than 200 million vehicles worldwide already use Mobileye EyeQ technology. With the addition of humanoid robotics capabilities, Mobileye aims to broaden its addressable markets beyond automotive safety and advanced driver assistance into robotics, positioning the company for sustained revenue growth and diversification over the next decade.
