Moderna, Merck climb on collaboration with Tempus
MRNA•Moderna and Merck shares rose 3.25% and 1.46%, respectively, after announcing a multi-year collaboration with Tempus to support potential commercialization of an experimental personalized mRNA cancer treatment. The financial terms were not disclosed.
1. Collaboration details
Tempus will manage the collection and transfer of tumor tissue and blood samples for next-generation sequencing. It will provide sequencing services to support the therapy’s design and manufacturing, subject to regulatory approvals.
