Moderna publishes presentation on phase I intismeran study in resected pancreatic cancer
MRNA•Moderna published phase I results for intismeran autogene with FOLFIRINOX in 20 patients with resected pancreatic cancer. T-cell responses were detected in all 19 evaluable patients, and 11 remained recurrence-free after a median follow-up of approximately 17 months.
1. Study results
The phase I study evaluated adjuvant intismeran autogene with FOLFIRINOX in 20 patients with resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Neoantigen-specific T-cell responses were detected in all 19 evaluable patients, including during concurrent chemotherapy. At a median follow-up of approximately 17 months, 11 patients remained recurrence-free.
2. Safety findings
One patient experienced grade 3 intismeran-related fatigue, and no adverse events led to intismeran discontinuation. No deaths were reported. The analyses were descriptive, with no formal hypothesis testing.
