Moderna publishes transcript of Q2 2026 earnings call

Revenue totaled $145 million; net loss was $782 million; cash and investments were $6.9 billion. Moderna reiterated its 2026 revenue outlook at up to 10% growth.
Cost outlook and litigation charge
The company cut its cost of sales outlook to $1.7 billion, including a $900 million litigation settlement charge. R&D outlook was trimmed to $2.9 billion.
Flu vaccine review and pipeline updates
Moderna said its flu vaccine mRNA-1010 won a unanimous VRBPAC recommendation. The FDA PDUFA date is set for Aug. 5, and reviews are ongoing in the EU, Canada, and Australia.
The company said Intismeran Phase III adjuvant melanoma study is fully enrolled, with an interim analysis expected in 2H 2026. Management plans a press release on interim results.
For the norovirus vaccine , Moderna said the study missed interim early-success criteria. The trial remains blinded, and Moderna plans a fourth cohort as case accrual ran slower than expected.
