GEGE

Modine appointed Art Laszlo president of its new Data Centers division on April 1 after investing $100 million in a Franklin, Wisconsin cooling plant. Data center cooling revenue reached $640 million in fiscal 2025 (25% of net sales), with management targeting 50–70% annual growth toward a $2 billion goal by 2028.

1. Leadership Appointment

Modine has named Art Laszlo president of its newly created Data Centers division effective April 1. Laszlo joined Modine in 2022, most recently serving as group vice president of global data centers, and previously held leadership roles at IDEX, GE, Mars and GM.

2. Capacity Expansion

In 2025 Modine invested over $100 million to expand capacity, including building a new cooling system plant in Franklin, Wisconsin. The move supports growing demand from large-scale data center operators seeking advanced thermal management solutions.

3. Revenue Growth

Data center cooling sales surged from 4% of net sales in fiscal 2021 to 25% in fiscal 2025, generating $640 million in revenue last year. This rapid expansion underscores data centers as one of Modine’s fastest-growing segments.

4. Segment Restructuring and Outlook

Modine will spin off its underperforming Performance Technologies segment and merge it with Gentherm, sharpening its focus on data centers and other high-growth markets. Management forecasts 50–70% annual data center revenue growth to exceed $2 billion by 2028.
