1. Momentus Completes $5.0 Million At-The-Market Private Placement
Momentus Inc. today announced the closing of a $5.0 million private placement under Nasdaq’s at-the-market rules with a single existing institutional investor. Under the securities purchase agreement, the investor purchased 925,926 shares of common stock (or common stock equivalents) and received warrants to purchase up to an additional 925,926 shares. The net proceeds will be used to advance the company’s Vigoride orbital service vehicle programs, accelerate in-space infrastructure development and support general corporate purposes. This transaction strengthens Momentus’s cash runway into late 2026, providing additional flexibility as the firm prepares for multiple mission launches and further technology demonstrations.
2. Momentus and Velo3D Develop 3D-Printed Fuel Tank for Vigoride-7 Mission
In collaboration with metal additive manufacturing specialist Velo3D, Momentus has produced an advanced fuel tank for flight testing on its upcoming Vigoride-7 Orbital Service Vehicle. The tank, manufactured using Velo3D’s fully integrated Flow™ print preparation software and Sapphire® printers, features complex internal geometries that optimize propellant flow and reduce mass by approximately 15 percent compared with conventionally machined tanks. Scheduled for launch in the first half of 2026, this demonstration will validate rapid, low-cost production methods and position Momentus as a qualified supplier of space-rated 3D-printed components. CEO John Rood highlighted that successful in-orbit performance could shorten production lead times from months to weeks and unlock new market opportunities for high-performance spacecraft hardware.
