Swiss President Guy Parmelin formally inaugurated the facility, underscoring its importance to the brand’s heritage and local economy.
2. Production Capacity Expansion
The new line will bolster output at the Bern plant, which already supplies about 90% of global Toblerone demand. Upgrades to chocolate, nougat and packaging processes are expected to accelerate throughput and reduce bottlenecks in fulfilling orders to over 120 countries.
