Monro expects fiscal 2027 comparable-store sales flat to slightly down
MNRO•Monro expects fiscal 2027 comparable-store sales and gross margin to be flat to slightly lower. It forecast net interest expense of $28 million to $32 million and capital expenditures of $25 million to $35 million.
1. Fiscal 2027 outlook
Monro expects fiscal 2027 comparable-store sales to be flat to slightly lower as macroeconomic pressures continue to weigh on consumers. Gross margin is projected to be flat to slightly lower than in fiscal 2026, depending on comparable-store sales performance.
2. Expenses and investment
The company expects selling, general and administrative expenses to rise with additional marketing investment. Second-quarter comparable-store sales fell 1.8%. Net interest expense is forecast at $28 million to $32 million, reflecting higher financing costs and debt following supply-chain financing repayments. Capital expenditures are projected at $25 million to $35 million.
