Monro publishes Q2 fiscal 2027 earnings call transcript
MNRO•Monro reported fiscal second-quarter sales down 1.8% to $283.6 million and a $1.6 million net loss, compared with net income of $5.7 million a year earlier. It expects full-year comparable sales to be flat to slightly down and gross margin flat to slightly lower.
1. Quarterly results and outlook
Monro's October 29 fiscal 2027 second-quarter earnings call included CEO Peter D. Fitzsimmons, CFO Brian J. D'Ambrosia and analysts. Management cited consumer pressures as it projected full-year comparable sales to be flat to slightly down, with gross margin flat to slightly lower.
2. Credit agreement and review
Monro entered a new $375 million, four-year credit agreement, raising expected annual net interest expense to $28 million-$32 million. Fitzsimmons said the refinancing does not conclude the strategic review, which still includes a potential company sale and has no deadline.
