Monzo reportedly in talks on sale to Nubank at about £10 billion valuation
NU•Nubank is reportedly in early-stage talks to combine with Monzo in a deal that could value the British digital bank at £8 billion to £10 billion.

An acquisition by Nubank is one of two options Monzo’s board is exploring. The other is a funding round expected to value Monzo at more than £8 billion, with proceeds earmarked for expansion into mainland Europe.
2. Monzo financials and valuation
Monzo reported pretax profit of £87.3 million for the year ended March 31, up from £60.5 million a year earlier, while revenue rose to £1.7 billion from £1.2 billion. The bank was last valued at £4.5 billion in an employee share sale in October 2024.
