Morningstar launches Direct AI agentic platform for investment professionals

Morningstar launched Morningstar Direct AI, a browser-based upgrade now live for global users, with three AI agents for product development, distribution support and manager due diligence.

1. AI platform launch

Morningstar said its new platform is grounded in its research, ratings, analytics and datasets spanning millions of securities across major asset classes. Its investment intelligence will also be accessible through Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.
