Motiva plans to complete FCCU restart at Port Arthur refinery

HOUSTON, Aug. 7 (Reuters) - Motiva Enterprises plans to complete restarting the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) at its 656,400 barrel-per-day Port Arthur, Texas, refinery on Saturday, said people familiar with plant operations.

The 81,000-bpd FCCU was shut on July 28 for repairs to the waste-heat boiler, the two sources said. Motiva began restarting the unit on Wednesday after completing repairs to the boiler.
