- MPT announces agreement for a $2.4 billion private refinancing transaction expected to extend debt maturities to 2032 and reduce debt by approximately $123 million
- Medical Properties Trust says proceeds to redeem 2026 notes in full and partially redeem 2027 notes
- Medical Properties Trust says it will refinance $1.50 billion of 2027-2031 unsecured notes
- Upon closing, the deal is expected to reduce total principal debt by $123 million to $9.50 billion
