Wearable Devices announced a collaboration with Rokid to deliver a Mudra Link-Rokid Glasses consumer bundle with out-of-the-box pairing, pre-mapped gestures and a shared setup flow, slated for Q2 2026. It also plans a standalone Mudra Link Android app launching January 2026 with full feature support, guided onboarding and XR readiness, both showcased at CES 2026.

1. WLDS and Rokid Announce Strategic Collaboration for Touchless AR Glasses

Wearable Devices Ltd. (WLDS) has entered into a technology partnership with Rokid to integrate its Mudra Link neural wristband with Rokid Glasses, the world’s lightest full-featured AI and AR glasses weighing 49 grams. The companies have completed out-of-the-box pairing protocols, pre-mapped gesture libraries and a unified setup flow, positioning the bundle for a joint consumer launch in Q2 2026. Initial marketing efforts will target key markets in North America, Europe and Asia, leveraging CES 2026 demos at LVCC Central Hall Booth 15650 (Wearable Devices) and Booth 17214 (Rokid) to secure distribution agreements with at least three major electronics retailers before the end of Q1 2026.

2. Android Expansion to Drive WLDS User Base Growth

On January 6, 2026, WLDS unveiled its standalone Mudra Link Android app, extending full neural gesture control support—including customizable gesture mapping, Bluetooth command integration and guided onboarding—to over 2.5 billion active Android users worldwide. The app eliminates the previous requirement for macOS or Windows for initial setup, reducing time-to-engagement from an average of 15 minutes to under 3 minutes. WLDS expects the Android launch to increase its total addressable market by 60%, with the company forecasting at least 100,000 new device activations in the first quarter following release and aiming for a 30% upsell of premium gesture-control features via its subscription model.
