Mueller Industries FY26 Q2 diluted EPS rises 1.8% to $1.13; net sales increase 25.4% to $1.43 billion

Mueller Industries posted Q2 2026 net income of $249.7 million, with diluted EPS up 1.8% to $1.13.
Net sales climbed 25.5% to $1.43 billion, while operating income rose 1.9% to $310 million.
COMEX copper averaged $6.16 per pound, up 30.6% from the year-earlier quarter.
Cash flow, acquisition and demand outlook
Operating cash flow was $212.3 million; $138.3 million was used to acquire Bison Metals Technologies.
CEO Greg Christopher said demand is strengthening in commercial, industrial and electrical markets, with strong backlogs; he expects recent acquisitions to contribute near term.
