Myriad Genetics, SOPHiA GENETICS partner to advance prostate cancer genomic instability score technology
MYGN•Myriad Genetics and SOPHiA GENETICS formed a collaboration with AstraZeneca to advance the PrGIS score for clinical-trial patient stratification and potential companion diagnostic development.
1. Partnership targets PrGIS
Myriad’s MyChoice CDx test will generate the prostate cancer genomic instability score, expanding the assay beyond its current ovarian cancer companion diagnostic use. SOPHiA GENETICS plans to integrate PrGIS into its decentralized solid-tumor HRD solution, and Myriad plans to present research co-authored with AstraZeneca at ESMO Congress 2026.
