Myriad Genetics study shows MRD test detects colorectal cancer recurrence median four months early
MYGN•Myriad Genetics said its Precise MRD test detected colorectal cancer recurrence a median of four months before clinical surveillance. Findings from the MONSTAR-SCREEN-3 study also linked detectable residual disease after pancreatic cancer surgery to significantly worse recurrence-free survival.
1. Study findings
Myriad Genetics announced MONSTAR-SCREEN-3 findings supporting the potential of its Precise MRD platform to identify recurrence risk after colorectal and pancreatic cancer surgery. In all observed colorectal cancer recurrence cases, the test detected molecular signs before clinical surveillance. Pancreatic cancer patients with detectable residual disease after surgery had significantly worse recurrence-free survival than those without detectable disease. The findings are scheduled for presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress on October 25, 2026.
