1. Revenue and profit
Namib Minerals said higher gold prices lifted six-month revenue to $50.84 million from $36.38 million. The realized price rose to $4,195 per ounce from $2,827, offsetting lower grade and slightly lower gold sales volumes. Production costs fell to $17.90 million from $18.46 million, or about 35% of revenue compared with 51%. Operating profit was $2.19 million, versus a $7.40 million loss, helped by lower administrative expenses. The period’s net loss narrowed to $4.83 million from $11.90 million, reflecting non-cash fair-value losses on earnout and warrants.
